In September 2020 the federal government asked for feedback on their National Preventive Health Strategy. They had a series of questions for stakeholders to answer on their Consultation Paper, and the Australian Naturopathic Council (notably ARONAH, NHAA, and CMA) worked together to write a submission on this area.
Overall, the ANC are in support of this Preventive Health Strategy and wrote a favourable response to feedback. We also suggested strongly throughout our submission, that naturopaths are involved in as many aspects of this strategy as possible. As naturopaths, we understand the role that prevention plays in health and think we are in a very good position to assist in this area.
