February 2020 the ANC took the opportunity to submit additional evidence to the Natural Therapies Review of the Private Health Insurance Rebate removal. The Federal Health Department called the professions to submit examples of peer reviewed research to show that Naturopathy (amongst other listed professions also removed) has evidence of its effectiveness.
The main change for this review of the evidence, is that the ‘tools of the trade’ were able to be included rather than whole practice evidence only. To read the specifics, please visit the Federal Department of Health Website
